Town Guide #8: Woodstock

Welcome back for our eighth HUTS Town Guide! Today we are exploring Woodstock, not to be confused with the 1969 Woodstock music festival, which took place in Bethel NY because they couldn’t get permits in the namesake town of Woodstock! Just a fun fact, but this town packs that Peace and Love vibe into the cutest package

Where to eat:

Silvia is a stunning restaurant in Woodstock run by a superstar duo of Brooklyn-born Korean sisters with a veggie heavy menu focused on locally sourced organic produce and meats. With standout menu items like the mushroom & lentil pâté and our HUTS favorite smoked & brined chicken there will be something for everyone. You’ll be transported dining around the open kitchen by it’s upscale Manhattan-esque interior minus the stress and traffic when you leave.

What to do outside:

For your art and culture needs take a stroll through Opus 40, an outdoor bluestone sculpture garden and museum that is just five miles from Woodstock. Visitors can walk through over 50 acres of trails taking in the expansive views that set the background for what’s known as the Stonehenge of North America.
