Where to eat:

For some seriously good cocktails and small plates check out Do Good Spirits just off the main street of Roscoe where this classic firehouse turned micro distillery will show you how the locals like to get some R&R after a day on the river. Don’t leave without trying their Beaverkill Bourbon Cream to warm you up on a chilly Catskill evening. Right around the corner you can stroll on over to the most authentic Italian restaurant in the area. Raimondos has been run by the sweetest Sicilian family for three generations from pizza to classic soul warming dishes like lasagna you will never leave hungry.

What to do outside:

Roscoe was voted the ultimate fishing town in the US by the World Fishing Network and the best outdoor sports town in NY, needless to say you will have plenty of options when picking the day’s activity. Try taking a guided fishing trip with the family run Baxter House River Outfitters, you’ll come home with some great stories. Another HUTS favorite is going for a round of golf at Tennanah Lake Golf & Tennis Club, after you practice your putt grab a drink at the clubhouse perched on top of a mountain overlooking the rolling hills and farm in the distance, It’s arguably the best place to catch the sunset in the area.
